Why We Rebalanced the Economy

The original rates were built for early testing. With 5,000+ players the pool needed redesigning around four pillars: sustainable earn rates, meaningful token sinks, skill-based rewards, and premium acceleration.

At the old rates, a maxed-out player earned 33 $FORGE/day. With 5,000 such players the P2E pool would be exhausted in under 1 year. The new rates target 0.45 $FORGE/day for casual players — enough to feel rewarding without draining supply.

A token that flows only in one direction (earn) inflates to zero. $FORGE v2.0 has real sinks: shop items, weapon unlocks, game power-ups, and mining upgrades all cost significantly more — meaning roughly 35–50% of earned tokens flow back, creating genuine scarcity.

Key Function
claimReward(uint256 amount, bytes sig)

Called by your wallet with a backend-generated signature. Transfers $FORGE from the contract vault to your address. Each signature is single-use and bound to a specific amount — mathematically cheat-proof.

Security Model

The backend holds the signing key but cannot spend your tokens. Only your wallet address can call claimReward. Replay attacks impossible — each signature includes your wallet address and exact amount in the signed message hash.

Audit Status

Currently unaudited (testnet). CertiK audit is budgeted for Q3 2026 before mainnet launch. All contract code will be open-sourced on GitHub prior to the audit. Do not use real funds on testnet.
